reason to kill II

With the remote in her hands Mrs Tu flipped through the stations on the tv.
Her heart was heavy. For years she had known no peace as nightmares upon nightmares plagued her every time her eyes decide to give her body a rest. Flashes of blood and rifle fire keep jolting her into reality which held nothing but stark gloom and heartbreak. If Mrs Tu was allowed to paint a sky from her experience she’d have exhausted the gloomy grey hue on her artwork. Oh! What suffering!
She eyed the almost empty bottle of Jack Daniels and resisted the urge to go take one final swig. For a couple of decades now she’d been living solely on liquor and anything that promised to take away her pain even if it was momentarily.
She flipped through the channels until a picture caught her eyes on the news network ‘The General orders troops into the town of Ka’ oh God! Not again she lamented this had been her pain years after years. The General had given orders for 5villages to be levelled and all living being shot dead in 3years 6villages if you count this new order. The General was the leader of the country, a dictator by all standards an anti-christ by deed.
She could have stopped this!
The General’s voice boomed out from the tv ‘I fear no one for I am god himself!’ And Mrs Tu winced at the statement.
‘Tonite the village of Ka will be wiped out of existence and i will be there to see people, adults, women and most of all kids beg for their lives before the rifle bullets hit them. Consider tonight as Rapture day for them cos I am god in flesh!’ This was fun for The General, big time fun.
Mrs Tu remembered all that had happened, how The General came to be and prior to that how she lost her index fingers. She’d been blessed with a curse from birth to be clairvoyant. Not that she saw everything that is to happen before hand but she’d definitely see it if it mattered, she knew her husband would die the day her son was born, she knew the General would cause so much pain to the world but she never knew she’d be in the center of the stage when fate calls for a curtain fall. It wouldn’t have mattered anyway.
She was rudely pulled out of her reverie by the shrill and incessant cacophony of her mobile phone. Instinctively she knew who it was. She seldom received calls. There was only one living soul aside from herself who knew about her gift, there would have been 5 people if the General hadn’t soaked four of them in a cauldron of hot oil leaving him the only one privy to the knowledge of her gift. Picking up the phone without her index finger was hard but she did finally with a deep grunt.
‘Yes? What do you want this time?’ She asked
‘Tell me have you seen anything new?’ The General asked
‘No’
‘I know you lie! And i will cut off your index fingers!’
Mrs Tu chuckled ‘ you cut them off years ago’
Enraged the General restated ‘fine then! I will cut off your wrists!’ When Mrs Tu asked how she’d pick his calls if he pulled his threat through he paused to think for a while before finally concluding,
‘MUM if you don’t tell me what will happen in 2days time i will come over and rip out your nipples with a pair of pliers!’
Mrs Tu gasped at that before replying ”Po how can you do this to the woman who stomached you for nine months? How can you do this to your mother?”

reason to kill

Before you read this i just want you to know Mrs Tu is the greatest mother on earth!
And am not joking!

Mrs Tu saw the white Honda Civic tailing them. Could it be? Could it be that the time is now? An ominous ripple seeped steadily from a pit anatomics has been unable to locate in her stomach and crept wider till it racked her whole body. She shivered as her palm all of a sudden became sweaty causing the steering wheel to slither and spin outta her blood drained knuckles. She stepped on the brakes sharply in a bid to steady the controls of the vehicle making the tyres screech in sublime defiance as the car ground to a complete stop. Mrs Tu was still shivering!
Po saw Mrs Tu shivering. He knew what it was to be scared. Not that he had ever been scared, NEVER but he knew just exactly what fear is. He could smell the aroma of fear miles away, he loved it. Somewhere in a clove in his brain he could feel Mrs Tu’s frenzied heartbeat and yeah he was loving the feeling. He lurched forward and without warning the seatbelt threw him back in his seat as Mrs Tu eased her foot off the brake.
Po heard her ‘remain in this car no matter what’ and for some reasons known to him he wanted to do just the opposite ‘mum am 7yrs old, you have no right to tell me what to do!’ And he pushed open the car door. Mrs Tu began screaming in a frenzy as tears dripped down her face.
BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!!
A short gasp escaped Mrs Tu as the staccato of automatic gunfire pierced her hearing. A sharp dagger of pain stabbed at her chest and dug deeper wracking her existence.
Is this the end? Mrs Tu asked as sprawled on the granite floor she watched her only son go down as 32 rifle bullets cut through his skin. His blood curdling scream twisted the dagger of pain in her heart once more.
She looked up at the killer of her 7yr old son and Mrs Tu declared ‘your balance is in the brown paper bag in the trunk of the car…and welldone!’
